Refund policy
At Unique Treasures, we want every customer to feel confident shopping with us. Please review the following terms regarding returns, refunds, and eligibility. By placing an order, you agree to the conditions set out below.
Damages and Issues
We ask that you carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us at info@uniquetreasures.co within 7 days of delivery. Please provide photos and your order number. We will investigate promptly and, if approved, provide either a replacement or a refund.
Return Window
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Perishable goods (including food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom or personalized products
- Handmade crochet and other made-to-order items, unless defective or incorrect
- Personal care or beauty products
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards
- Sale or clearance items
If you are uncertain whether a product qualifies for return, please contact us before placing your order.
Please note: Some handmade crochet items may vary slightly in appearance or tone due to limited-edition yarns and small-batch production. These variations are part of what makes each piece unique. If a specific shade or material is unavailable, our team will contact you before completing your order to confirm your preference.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Because many of our handmade crochet pieces are made to order, we begin production shortly after your order is placed. For this reason, cancellations or order changes can only be accepted within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, we’re unable to modify or cancel the order as materials may already be in use.
Lost or Damaged Packages
We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by shipping carriers. However, if your package is marked as “lost in transit,” we’ll work with the courier to investigate and help resolve the issue. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can assist you.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to replace an item, you must return the original (if eligible) and place a new order separately.
EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Return Shipping
Unless the item is defective or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive returned items.
Restocking Fee
All approved refunds are subject to a $15 restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Items returned used, damaged, or without original packaging may incur additional deductions or be deemed ineligible.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing typically occurs within 10 business days after inspection.
- Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
